Novato is the far end of the map and thirty minutes is the honest estimate, more at the hour when 101 slows past the Novato Narrows. The calls are ranch houses from the 1960s and 70s with an attached garage and a sliding door onto the yard, rekeyed at $26 to $43 per cylinder and opened at $125 to $215 when the door from the garage has latched; the shops and restaurants along Grant Ave with storefront work at $155 to $469; and the lots at the shopping center off Rowland Blvd with car lockouts at $99 to $195 and a fob programmed at $105 to $199. The newer subdivisions on the east side of the freeway bring a smart lock at $185 to $469 on the door from the garage. The figure, with the $89 service call inside it, is named on the call before the van leaves.
Say which side of 101 the address is on and give a cross street. Novato is a long town and the estimate depends on the exit. For a shopping center lot, name the store nearest the car.
Novato sits at the edge of the map the van covers, so arrival runs about 30 minutes. Every service and price on this site applies there, with nothing added for the distance.
FAQ
What people ask about Novato
Thirty minutes is the longest drive on the map. Is anything added for it?+
Nothing. The drive north sits inside the figure named on the call, exactly as a drive to Fourth Street does. What the distance affects is the window rather than the price, and 101 through the Narrows at the wrong hour affects it more than the miles do. That is said on the call rather than discovered at the door.
Which exit should I give when I call?+
The nearest one, with a cross street. Novato runs a long way along the freeway and the difference between the south end and the far north end is ten minutes of driving. Say which side of 101 the address is on. For a shopping center lot, name the store nearest the car rather than the row number.
