Terms of Service

A price is given on the call and holds through to the invoice, with the $89 service call already counted in. It moves only if you change what you want done, and the new figure is agreed before work continues.

Ranges published on this site describe typical jobs. Evening attendance adds +$55, overnight +$90; both sit inside the quoted total rather than appearing later.

Before opening a door or vehicle we establish that the customer is entitled to be inside — identification showing the address, a lease, a registration, or the owner confirming. Where that is not possible, the technician leaves without opening it.

Non-destructive entry is attempted first. Destructive entry requires your explicit consent and an agreed price for whatever hardware has to be replaced.

Workmanship carries 90 days of cover from the visit, hardware carries the manufacturer's. Neither covers misuse, a subsequent forced entry, or work altered by someone else afterwards.

Payment is made on completion, by card or contactless, with an itemised invoice emailed afterwards. Once the technician has reached the address, calling it off carries the booking-time cancellation fee.

So far as the law permits, liability for any claim arising out of a job is limited to the sum paid for that job, and liability that cannot lawfully be limited is unaffected.

These terms are governed by CA law, and any dispute is heard in the courts serving San Rafael.
