Marin Lock & Key San Rafael is an independent locksmith shop serving San Rafael & the Marin towns beside it from San Rafael, CA. This policy applies to marinlocksmithsanrafael.com and to the calls, texts and records a job here produces.

The estimate quiz asks for a name, a phone number, the town or neighbourhood, an optional email if you want the figure in writing, and your description of the lock, gate or key. No other part of the site asks anything personal of you.

The page a request came from and any campaign tag in the link. Our host keeps routine server logs. Neither is used to profile visitors or to follow anyone across other sites.

Calls to (628) 251-8459 go through a Twilio tracking number and land on dispatch. The carrier records the calling number, the time and how long the call lasted; the conversation itself is not recorded. Those records are how a dropped call is returned.

The booking button leaves the site for Nexfield (nexfield.pro), our scheduler. Name, number, address and slot are entered there under Nexfield's own terms and come back as a booked job. A phone call does the same thing.

PostHog counts visits in cookieless mode; nothing is stored on your device. Replay and automatic click capture are off, and four events are counted: page opened, phone tapped, booking tapped, quiz submitted.

Block us-assets.i.posthog.com and you are not counted. No advertising pixels or retargeting tags are present anywhere on this site.

A number left with us is used to confirm the price and window, to name the technician and to say when the van is close. Service messages and nothing else — past customers get no campaigns from us. Normal message rates apply and STOP turns the texts off.

The carrier; Nexfield; dispatch; and the terminal's processor if you settle by card. Nobody else.

We do not sell, rent or trade details, and we do not hand them to another locksmith or contractor.

Records last while the warranty is live and as long as tax and lien rules require; codes and key numbers tied to an address are dropped when the job closes. Both are asked for at info@marinlocksmithsanrafael.com.

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, California residents may require us to disclose, delete and confirm that nothing was sold or shared. The same address works, as does (628) 251-8459, and asking costs you nothing.

This is a service site for owners, tenants and drivers; it is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13.
